Introduction

By inviting and using our app ("bot"), you ("You", "your") automatically agree to SlashBot's ("our", "we", "us") Privacy Policy, Discord's Terms of Service and our Terms of Service ("ToS"), which are mentioned below.
If you are below the age of 13 you are not allowed to use our services.

We reserve the right to permanently block you from our services, deny support and/or services without any reason.
By using SlashBot services you agree to the processing of your data as described in our Privacy Policy.
We reserve the right to change our ToS at any time without any notice.

Limitation of Liability

• SlashBot is not liable for any content generated, created, posted, or shared by users through the bot. This includes but is not limited to text, images, embeds, AI-generated content, and any other user-generated content.
• We are not responsible for any content that violates Discord's Terms of Service, local laws, or regulations.
• Users bear full responsibility for all content they create or generate using our bot.
• We are not responsible for any damages, losses, or consequences resulting from the use or misuse of our bot.
• The bot is provided "as is" without any warranties, express or implied.
• We are not liable for any server bans, account suspensions, or other penalties users may receive as a result of content generated through our bot.

Rights to use our service

• You may not use our services to break the rules of the guild ("server") you are in.
• You may not attempt to abuse, exploit, or circumvent any limitations of the bot.
• You may not use the bot for any illegal purposes or to send spam, malicious content, or harassing messages.
• You may not attempt to reverse engineer the bot or use automated scripts to interact with it.
• You may not sell, trade, or monetize the bot's services without explicit permission.

Service Limitations

• The bot may implement rate limits to ensure fair usage across all servers.
• We may restrict or limit certain features based on server size, usage patterns, or technical constraints.
• We do not guarantee 100% uptime or availability of the service.
• We reserve the right to modify or remove any features at any time.

Monitoring and Logging

• We may log and monitor the usage of certain features for moderation purposes and to ensure safe and Discord-compliant usage of our services.
• This logging may include, but is not limited to:
  • Command usage and frequency
  • Content created through bot features (including text, embeds, and AI-generated content)
  • User identifiers and server information
  • Timestamps and usage patterns
• Logged data may be reviewed to:
  • Prevent abuse and misuse of the bot
  • Ensure compliance with Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines
  • Identify and address violations of our Terms of Service
  • Improve bot functionality and user experience
  • Respond to legal requests or obligations
• All logging and data processing is conducted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
• We reserve the right to take action based on logged data, including but not limited to restricting access, banning users, or reporting violations to Discord.

AI Features Terms

• We reserve the right to ban or exclude any user from using AI features at any time without prior notice or explanation.
• All AI command usage and generated content is logged and monitored for moderation purposes to ensure safe, compliant, and appropriate use of AI features.
• SlashBot is not liable for any content generated by AI features. Users are solely responsible for reviewing and ensuring all AI-generated content complies with applicable rules and policies before posting.
• Users must comply with OpenAI's content policies when using AI features:
  • OpenAI Usage Policies
  • OpenAI Terms of Use
• We may limit AI feature usage, including but not limited to:
  • Number of requests per user/server
  • Length of prompts or responses
  • Types of content that can be generated
  • Access to specific AI models or capabilities
• We reserve the right to terminate access for any misuse or violation of these terms.
• AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies, and we make no guarantees about its accuracy, reliability, or appropriateness.

User Responsibilities

• You are solely responsible for any and all content created, generated, posted, or managed through the bot in your server or by your account.
• You must ensure all content you generate complies with Discord's Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, and all applicable laws.
• You must ensure all users in your server who interact with the bot comply with these terms.
• You acknowledge that you are personally liable for any violations resulting from content you create using the bot.
• You must report any security vulnerabilities or bugs you discover.
• You must maintain appropriate security measures for your Discord account and bot access.

Intellectual Property

• All bot content, features, and functionality remain our exclusive property.
• You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works of the bot's code or features.
• Any feedback or suggestions you provide may be used by us without compensation.

Termination

• We may terminate service to a server if it's being used for prohibited purposes.
• Upon termination, you must cease all use of the bot and remove it from your servers.
